MyWorkpapers has become BrightWorkpapers. The rebrand is part of our wider brand refresh, launched today at AccountEx London, and it reflects a simple ambition: to present a unified, consistent identity across the entire Bright portfolio so that every product feels like it belongs to the same family, built by the same people, held to the same standard.
If you’re a MyWorkpapers customer, here is everything you need to know.
What Has Changed
• The name. From MyWorkpapers to BrightWorkpapers.
You will also see a refreshed look and feel — updated colours and visual design that bring BrightWorkpapers in line with the rest of the Bright product range, including BrightPay, BrightTax, BrightBooks, and BrightManager. The goal is a consistent experience across your entire Bright toolkit: the same design language, the same visual cues, the same sense of quality wherever you are in the platform.
• The layout. The UX design will change slightly in June 2026 to be consistent with other Bright products.
When your team moves between Bright products throughout the working day, they should feel at home in each one. The BrightWorkpapers rebrand is a step towards that.
What Hasn’t Changed
Everything else.
- The functionality. BrightWorkpapers is the same software you use today, the same functionality, the same workflows, the same features you have built your practice around. There are no changes to how the product works, no features being removed.
- The people. The MyWorkpapers team is staying. The people who built the product, who know it inside out, and who have supported your practice are not going anywhere. You will continue to work with the same team.
- Your support. The level of support you receive is unchanged. Response times, the quality of help, the people you speak to, all of it remains exactly as it is. If anything, being more fully embedded within the Bright portfolio means more resource and more backing behind the product and the team that supports it.
- Your subscription. Your existing subscription is unaffected. You do not need to do anything. The rebrand will not trigger any change to your contract, your pricing, or your renewal terms.
Why We Are Doing This
Earlier this year, Bright completed a significant piece of brand strategy work, the most substantial review of our identity in the company’s history. We spoke to customers across every part of our portfolio, and what came back consistently was the value of coherence: practices want to know that the software they use is built by people who understand their world, held to a common standard, and backed by the same commitment to support.
Bringing MyWorkpapers into the Bright family under a unified name is part of delivering on that. It reflects our belief that understanding is the difference between working and winning and that understanding your practice means giving you tools that work together, feel consistent, and make your day simpler rather than more complicated.
BrightWorkpapers has also joined a portfolio that is growing. BrightPay, BrightTax, BrightBooks, BrightManager, BrightAP, BrightWorkpapers, TimeKeeper, Inform Direct, each of these products is stronger as part of a coherent suite than as a standalone name. The rebrand is about making that coherence visible.
What This Means for Your Practice
In practical terms, very little changes in the short term. You will see the new BrightWorkpapers name and updated branding reflected in the product and in communications from us. Any updates to URLs or email addresses will be communicated directly with clear guidance before they take effect.
In the longer term, being fully embedded within the Bright portfolio means your workpapers software benefits from the investment, the product development, and the AI capability that Bright is building across the entire suite. As we continue to develop BrightWorkpapers, it will be shaped by the same customer understanding that drives every other product we build.
A Note to BrightWorkpapers Customers
We know that when software changes, even in name only, it can prompt questions. So we want to be direct: this change is intended to benefit you. It reflects our commitment to the product, to the team behind it, and to the customers who depend on it. We are not stepping back from workpapers. We are stepping further in.
The team you know remains in place. The support you rely on continues. The product keeps improving. What changes is the name on the door and that name now sits alongside some of the most widely used accounting and payroll software in the UK and Ireland.
If you have any questions about the rebrand, the BrightWorkpapers support team is available to help.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to do anything as a result of this rebrand?
No. Your subscription, access, and workflows are all unaffected. The rebrand happened in the background. You will see the new name and updated look and feel reflected in the product in June 2026 and in communications from Bright, but there is nothing you need to action unless we advise you otherwise.
Will the BrightWorkpapers team change?
No. The people who built MyWorkpapers and who support MyWorkpapers customers are staying. There are no changes to the team, the support model, or how you get in touch with us.
Is the product itself changing?
The rebrand does not bring any changes to product functionality. Although the layout of the product is set to change in June 2026, the functionality works exactly as MyWorkpapers does today. Future product development will continue and as part of the wider Bright portfolio, you can expect BrightWorkpapers to benefit from the investment Bright is making across the suite.
Will my subscription price change?
No. The rebrand has no impact on your pricing, your contract, or your renewal terms.
Will the URLs or email addresses I use change?
Any changes to URLs or contact email addresses will be communicated directly and in advance, with clear guidance on what to update and when. Nothing will change without notice.
What is the broader Bright rebrand about?
In May 2026, Bright launched a new brand identity built around a single belief: that understanding is the difference between working and winning. The rebrand reflects twenty-plus years of working alongside accountants, payroll bureaus, and bookkeepers and a commitment to building software that genuinely fits how your practice works. BrightWorkpapers is part of that story.
