We have some exciting news to share today, introducing Stephen Murdoch who has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer at Bright.
Stephen is no stranger to the tech world, and his impressive track record in growth, transformation, and expansion in the software and technology industry speaks volumes. Before taking the reins at Bright, Stephen spent over a decade as the CEO of Micro Focus, before which he held several high-ranking positions at tech giants like Dell and IBM.
We welcome Stephen and know that this mix of experience, combined with an incredibly capable team and rock-solid foundations, will propel us forward as a leading software champion in our sector.
This news also means that, with enormous gratitude and heartfelt thanks, we are sad to say goodbye to Kevin McCallum who, having spent the past few weeks working closely and supporting Stephen to ensure the best possible transition, has decided to subsequently leave the business.
It’s without doubt that Kevin has been a significant and integral part of Bright’s journey over recent years. His leadership and commitment to spearheading the ‘OneBright’ initiative has helped to bring the entire organisation together, setting us up well and putting us in an enviable position for future achievements. We wish him well and know that he’ll be cheering us all on from his next endeavour.

Our priorities will be to build on this and to scale, but without compromising the highly innovative development and customer-centric approach that has been core to our success over several years.”
