Another year, another BrightPay - BrightPay 2024 is now available for download. If you're a new customer looking to make 2024's payroll responsibilities a breeze, or you're an existing customer who's been eagerly awaiting the new version of your payroll saviour, we've got you covered.

Here’s an overview of what’s new: 

2024 Tax Year Updates 

  • 2024 rates, thresholds and calculations for PAYE, USC, PRSI, LPT and ASC. 
  • Support for retrieving and using 2024 Revenue Payroll Notifications (RPN). 
  • Support for creating and sending 2024 Payroll Submission Requests (PSR). 
  • Support for increase to 5 days for Statutory Sick Pay. 

 Integration with BrightBooks 

  • API integration for payroll journals to BrightBooks. 

Other New Features and Updates in 2024 

  • New Branding. 
  • Enhanced Reporting Requirements (ERR) categorisation for expenses and benefits required by Revenue from 1st January 2024. 
  • Report functionality for expenses and benefits under Enhanced Reporting Requirements (ERR).
  • Seamless integration with our BrightExpenses package for reporting expenses and benefits to Revenue under Enhanced Reporting Requirements (ERR).
  • Parent’s Leave option on the calendar.
  • New Pan-European Personal Pension Product (PEPP).
