BrightBooks / SurfAccounts Migration Statement
As of the 22nd February 2025, BrightBooks will no longer be found at SurfAccounts.com because we have discontinued the Surf Accounts website from that date.
Why was this website discontinued?
In September 2021, Irish companies Thesaurus Software and Relate Software merged to form Bright. Thesaurus provided payroll software BrightPay, while Relate’s Surf Accounts and Surf Accounts Production were rebranded as BrightBooks and BrightAccountsProduction.
This merger was the catalyst for the formation of Bright, which has since expanded its portfolio through multiple acquisitions and product launches. As a provider of industry-leading software for accountants and bookkeepers, Bright is bringing all its solutions together under one unified Bright brand website.
To enhance user experience, we are focusing on updating the Bright website and will no longer maintain the old BrightBooks/SurfAccounts site.
What does this mean for you?
Moving forward you will have to use the Bright website to log in to BrightBooks and access support materials.
