Why should I use company secretarial software?

The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (also referred to as ECCTA) gives Companies House more powers to regulate how businesses register and file their annual statements. Company secretaries will be affected in a number of ways; from March 4th 2024 (tbc) you will have to ensure clients have a registered email address and complete a declaration of legal intent on their CS01 form. Later changes include increases to the fees at Companies House (1st May 2024), ID Verification, annual accounts for micro and small entities, and a switch to software (all with dates tbc).

Will the ECCTA (Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023) affect company secretaries?
